Aside from teaching, I tend to involve myself in a variety of things which affect the person that I am today. I would like to share some of my extra curricular experiences with you.
Currently I am the Secretary of the Strathfield Campus Student Association at ACU. Aside from writing minutes in meetings and doing other admin things in the office, along with my Executive Team we have to manage a group of 22 people. It has its ups and downs, but it has been a great experience this year and I would recommend anyone to involve themselves in university life because it creates so many memories. Below is a photo of our team at our Opening Ceremony.
I have been doing Croatian dancing for over ten years. I currently dance for a group called Vukovar, based in Bonnyrigg, Sydney.
Below is a photo from a dancing seminar I did in Croatia, January 2008.
My Croatian Catholic Church in Blacktown formed a Youth Group leading up to World Youth Day, which allowed me to involve myself in all the preparations and activities. It was a wonderful experience to be united with so many Croatians. One highlight for me would have been dancing our traditional Croatian ‘Kolo’ in the middle of the Harbour Bridge during our Pilgrim walk. Below is a photo of the Croatians I spent the World Youth Day weekend with.
I enjoy travelling, and went around the world with a friend in 2005/06, and then on my own to Croatia in 2007/8. The photo below is from a day in London.

Excellent photos! I think its interesting how you can look at an image and decipher so much about who and what is going on. You need no words, not explanations. Photos are a global language! Really really love them, well done!
